Emma is a Clinical and Health Psychologist and the Director of the Clinical & Health Psychology Group. Emma has been passionate about offering primary mental health care in the community for many years and previously was co-founder, alongside Dr Philippa Frances, of the Wellspring Centre for Clinical & Health Psychology.
Emma provides specialist psychological services to support adolescents and adults who may be experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties, and those associated with chronic health or complex medical conditions. She brings extensive experience from working in public health, university, and private sectors.
Emma is a Clinical Advisor on the WorkSafe Victoria Clinical Panel. Emma also consults to The Black Dog Institute where she is a facilitator for workplace mental health training programs around Australia.
Emma is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the APS College of Health Psychology, the APS College of Clinical Psychology, the Australian Pain Society, and the International Association for the Study of Pain. Emma has Board-Approved Supervisor status with the Psychology Board of Australia to AHPRA.
Emma draws from evidence-based practice to help her clients live with meaning and purpose. Emma supports individuals to develop new skills to help them move through difficult times, whether it be from adjusting to a new medical or health problem, an episode of depression or post-natal depression, anxiety, burn out, development of an eating disorder, bereavement, or trauma. Emma has a special interest in psycho-oncology, pain management, and workplace mental health.
Underpinning Emma’s warm and compassionate approach, she is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Narrative Therapy. In addition to providing individual therapy, Emma has an interest in group work, training, and providing professional supervision to psychologists.

As a clinical and health psychologist Siân is interested in helping adults with medical and psychological conditions engage in behaviours that assist with their health performance despite the distress that can occur with illness. Her experience includes working in acute medical and physical rehabilitation hospitals (including during COVID), helping people manage and adjust to medical illnesses, injuries, terminal diagnoses and disabilities.
Siân also focuses on helping individuals with trauma symptoms, persistent pain, adjustment to illness (including cancer, organ failure, limb amputation), addiction, self-esteem issues, assertiveness, and anxiety and depression. Siân has experience treating adults with Somatic Symptom Disorder, Factitious Disorder and Functional Neurological (Symptom) Disorder.
Siân is keenly interested in working with medical and health professionals, for therapy, supervision or clinical debriefing to assist with anxiety, burnout and/or moral injury, especially after working during COVID. Siân has run group debriefing sessions at Austin Hospital and at Northern Health for junior doctors and other multidisciplinary teams through the pandemic.

Catherine has been awarded a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology. Catherine holds professional membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the National Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) and is a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor.
Catherine has worked at several of Melbourne’s major hospitals in general health and psychiatric settings. Catherine provides treatment for a range of psychiatric disorders and has a special interest in working with people who live with chronic health conditions, and people that have experienced trauma.
Catherine endeavours to provide a relationship that is person centred and has a passion for providing high quality evidence-based treatment. Catherine draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Existential Psychotherapy in her work with clients.

Dianne is a Clinical and Health Psychologist with extensive experience in public hospital and community health settings. Previously, she specialised in assisting adults in coping with emotional and psychological challenges associated with acute and chronic health conditions, complex medical conditions, and recovery from illness and injury. Dianne has now transitioned to private practice with The Clinical and Health Psychology Group, where she applies her knowledge and skills to provide a range of psychological services.
Dianne is a warm, approachable clinician who values working collaboratively with individuals, empowering them to better self-manage and improve their wellbeing. Her strengths and interests include working with adults dealing with depression, anxiety, fears and phobias, OCD, grief and loss, low self-esteem, symptoms of trauma and post-traumatic stress, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, stress and adjustment issues, chronic health issues, and post-injury and illness recovery. Drawing upon evidence-based therapy modalities and approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, trauma-informed therapies, Mindfulness, and Chair work, Dianne is committed to helping individuals foster positive change and growth. Kim is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked in community, outpatient, and specialist mental health settings. Her specific areas of expertise include complex/chronic health issues and anxiety disorders. She also has extensive experience working with people from different cultural backgrounds and settlement experiences.
Kim was awarded a PhD in Clinical Psychology by Monash University, where her research focused on understanding treatments for anxiety disorders. Her work has been published in peer reviewed journals and books, and has been presented at international conferences.
Kim particularly enjoys working with anxiety and related problems (e.g., stress, trauma, perfectionism), mood issues and depression, living with complex and/or chronic illness (e.g., ME/CFS, POTS, fibromyalgia), and adjustment to difficult life changes.
Kim is trained in a range of evidence-based treatments including cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness. Her approach is flexible and adaptive, ensuring that therapy is tailored to meet each person’s individual needs and goals.
Kim’s clients appreciate her warm, supportive, and non-judgemental approach, and enjoy her down to earth style and gentle sense of humour.

Hunter has been working as a psychologist since 2008 and holds endorsement as a Health Psychologist and is a Registered Supervisor with AHPRA.
Hunter has worked in the alcohol and drug sector, private practice and in public hospitals where he is currently a senior psychologist. He has extensive experience working acute and chronic health problems and in particular with cancer patients. He completed his Doctoral thesis through the Petermac and ran psycho-oncology clinics at two public hospitals over a number of years.
Hunter has an interest in eating disorders and more specifically in the treatment of adolescents with Anorexia Nervosa. Hunter has been trained in Family-based Therapy through the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Hunter brings a warm, friendly and practical approach to therapy. He enjoys working with all types of psychological problems, including mood and anxiety problems, relationship problems, trauma, health issues, and anorexia nervosa in adolescents.
He works using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Existential Psychology and Motivational Interviewing. He uses Family Based Therapy Anorexia Nervosa.
He is always keen to learn more about psychology and has recently completed a Masters of Clinical Psychology through Swinburne University. He also co-hosts the psychology podcast Two Shrinks Pod.

Arna has worked as a psychologist for over 10 years. She is an endorsed Health Psychologist and AHPRA board approved supervisor.
In addition to private practice, Arna is a senior psychologist at a major Melbourne rehabilitation hospital. In this role Arna trains and supervises other psychologists and students, as well as working with inpatients and outpatients and running multidisciplinary group programs. Arna also has experience as an infertility counsellor in a previous role at an IVF clinic.
Arna has a particular interest in assisting people with adjusting to and living well with medical conditions. Arna has experience working with clients with a range of chronic health issues including persistent pain, Fibromyalgia, cardiac health, cancer, Functional Neurological Disorder, respiratory conditions, and recovery from physical injury. Poly is a registered psychologist who has worked with people across the lifespan, in community, educational and private settings. Poly offers services to children, adolescents, and adults. Poly has obtained a Masters of Professional Psychology and also holds a Bachelor of Education in Psychology and Counselling.
Poly has extensive experience in working with a variety of presenting issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management, eating disorders, obsessive and compulsive disorder, addiction, child behaviour issues, social skills, and general life stress. Poly has a strong interest in working with people with a chronic health condition. He finds it meaningful to increase people’s quality of life by empowering them with cognitive and behaviour strategies to support the management of their health condition and help them build their capacity to engage in life activities of their choice. Moreover, Poly is a multilingual speaker, and he provides consultations in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese Hokkien.
Poly has a special interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Contextual Behaviour Science (CBS), and he has completed extensive training in these areas. Poly also uses a range of other evidence-based approaches, including Motivational Interviewing, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and play therapy (Sandplay) for children.

Therese has completed a Master of Clinical Psychology and a PhD in the field of psychophysiology. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), is an Associate Member of The Australasian Sleep Association (ASA), the Sleep Health Foundation (SHF) and the National Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Through her experiences within both public and private healthcare settings, and with a background in sleep and psychological research, Therese has gained invaluable experience working with individuals across the lifespan with various and complex acute and chronic physical conditions, as well as neurodevelopmental, neurodegenerative and other mental health conditions. In the therapeutic setting, Therese draws on her knowledge and skills in clinical assessment and evidence-based psychological and psychotherapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.
Therese has a keen interest in sleep-related disorders, sleep-related anxiety, trauma, and has experience with the application of therapeutic protocols for various anxiety-related disorders, eating disorders and OCD.
